Many, MANY things have bean invented in both China and Japan. Japan has many new, modern inventions, along with a couple of relatively old ones, while China, with it's extensive history, has a very long list of inventions, many of which are extremely old. Many of these inventions (both Chinese Announced Japanese) are extremely widespread in modern society, and across many cultures; seismometers are used worldwide to detect earthquakes, flash disks are so widespread that this document may even be on one, and many games and consoles developed by Nintendo are currently used worldwide. Anime is also growing increasingly popular worldwide, and gunpowder is DEFINATELLY used a lot in wars. For this reason, one can safely conclude that Japanese and Chinese inventions are a very large part of daily life almost everywhere on Earth. This includes the wilderness, since the compass is also a Chinese invention. There are so many Chinese and Japanese inventions that this page only includes a single fraction of them.
